RV tech supportHi, I’m Techy.

I answer RV questions from the unit’s own manuals, show you the page, and get a real tech involved when it’s more than a manual job.

Standby tech hours: 9am to 5pm Eastern, Monday to Friday. Out of hours, your question waits for the next working morning.

How I answer

Straight from the manual. With the page.

Every RV ships with a stack of manuals: the coach, the fridge, the water heater, the furnace, the air conditioner, the generator. I read every page of the ones for your unit, then answer only from them.

  • Steps in plain words, with the page they came from.
  • When the manuals don’t cover it, I say so instead of guessing.
  • One place to ask, not six makers’ phone lines.

Safety first

Gas, smoke, power, brakes. I don’t guess.

Those questions are stopped in code before any AI sees them. You get the steps to get everyone safe, and the case goes straight to a person, marked urgent. Try it in the chat above.

When it needs a person

I get a real tech on it.

One tap sends the question, the photos and what the manuals said to a standby tech. They answer in writing or call back. Every question and outcome is kept against the unit, so you can see which units cause the calls.

Why it matters

Check the manual before the shop queue.

RVDA data reported by RV News put the 2024 average at 49 days for a work order with a warranty item, and 61 days when a part was out of stock. 30% of work orders needed a part ordered. A reset, a tripped breaker or a bypass valve that the manual covers should never join that queue. Multiply your nightly rate by the days a unit sits there: that is what a manual answer is worth, and we don’t publish a figure for you because it is yours.

Built with Fireside RV Rental.

Fireside’s staff are the first to use me, inside Beacon Inspect, the inspection app they already carry. Their standby tech answers the cases I hand over. What the pilot shows sets the plans and the prices below.

Questions people ask

How do you know which manual to use?

Your rental or inspection software, or you, tell me the RV’s year, make and model. I use the manuals filed for that unit. A fleet can add a missing one by upload or by link. If we’re missing an RV’s documentation, we add it. A pass doesn’t start until Techy can answer.

What if the manuals don’t cover it?

I say so plainly and offer to send the question to a tech. I never fill the gap with a guess.

Does this replace roadside assistance?

No. Keep your roadside cover for towing and tires. I cover how the RV works, and get a person involved when it doesn’t.

Does it work with our software?

It plugs into rental and inspection software through an API. It runs inside the Beacon Inspect app today.

What does it cost?

Fleet prices are set with each fleet during the pilot. Passes and owner plans, with their prices, are on the pricing page, and say “coming soon” until they’re on sale.

Who sees our questions?

Only you. Each fleet, and each owner, sees only their own questions, cases and outcomes.
